The Remaining Relative visa has two subclasses: subclass 115 and subclass 835. The Remaining Relative visa is for individuals who have no close family members living outside Australia and who are the brother, sister, child, or step equivalent of an Australian citizen, permanent resident, or eligible New Zealand citizen. This visa allows individuals to live in Australia permanently with their sponsoring relative.

The Carer visa has two subclasses: subclass 836 and subclass 116.The Carer visa is for individuals who are needed to provide substantial and continuing care or assistance for a relative who has a medical condition that requires ongoing assistance with daily tasks. This visa allows individuals to live in Australia permanently with their care recipient.
